VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME
If you have some extra time, our Pit Bulls would love to spend it with you.
We require all new volunteers to attend a New Volunteer Orientation to learn who we are, what we do, how our dogs are trained, and how to manage them on walks and at events.
FOSTER PARENTS
We’re looking for short-term and long-term fosters!
Short-term: We need temporary homes for the dogs to go to after we pull them from Animal Control and before we bring them to our boarding kennel. This is to ensure that we are not bringing kennel cough or other communicable diseases into the kennel space and infecting other dogs. Since we will not be able to properly test the dog before we pull them, they should be quarantined from all other animals in the home, and have limited to no interactions with children. These temporary foster homes are just quiet spaces for the dog to decompress and get well if they are sick prior to coming to the kennel.
Long-term: A boarding kennel can be a loud and stressful place for some dogs. Dogs that don’t do well in a kennel environment are in need of a foster home. We provide the food, crate, and all other necessities for housing a dog, and the foster parent provides the care. Foster parents must be prepared to housetrain, deal with potential behavior problems, attend weekly training sessions, bring the dog to adoption events and vet appointments.
SPONSORSHIP
We understand not everyone can take in a rescue dog but we ask you to please consider sponsoring one. Sponsors help pay for medical attention, medication, surgeries, and daily needs. It’s easy to do!
FUNDRAISING
We are always on the lookout for fundraising connections with small businesses and individuals. Our rescue relies entirely on donations and the kindness of friends. Would you like to help raise more funds for Bombshell Bullies?
